Mindfulness is being aware of the present moment with kindness. It has the power to enhance your child’s social and emotional well-being and is a life-long skill. This one time class is an introduction to Mindfulness and will help your child learn Mindfulness “tools” to navigate the ups and downs of being human. Children will explore strong emotions (like excitement, anger, and sadness) and learn how to work through these emotions with more awareness and compassion toward themselves and others. This will be done through movement, art, stories and games - and will include take-aways to encourage at home practice.
