Parenting is difficult! Almost every parent feels stressed out or overwhelmed at times. The Parenting Skills Group, run by Lenora Lemke LAMFT, is ideal for parents of children between the ages of 5 and 16. This group will focus on:
-utilizing effective parenting tools and strategies;
-increasing awareness of what is underneath your child’s behavior to motivate them from the inside out;
-increasing awareness of what your triggers are when parenting and how to stay calm;
-increasing compassion and understanding for yourself and for your child;
-using communication skills to improve relationships within the household; and,
-maintaining loving connection to your kids even during discipline.
There will also be time in each group session to share experiences and support one another.
This is priced $240 for 6 group sessions. See the Schedule section for more info about dates.
